A rapid memory leak may be observed on an ASR900-series (ASR903, ASR920) router. This is observed in SNMP: the output of 'show memory allocating-process totals' will show "SNMP MEDIUM CHUNK" and "SNMP VB CHUNK" consistently growing in size: Allocator PC Summary for: Processor Displayed first 2048 Allocator PCs only PC Total Count Name 0x11E22F70 72245180 8532 SNMP MEDIUM CHU <-- 0x13968E54 65550956 7746 SNMP MEDIUM CHU <-- 0x13968E74 44386648 61629 SNMP VB CHUNK <--
ASR903/920 system running affected code and having 'snmp-server host' configured.
Possible workaround is to remove snmp-server host configuration.
