Symptom

After resetting BGP peering session, BGP is stuck in OpenConfirm or OpenSent.

Conditions

Resetting BGP session by any reason. For example, changed AS to a wrong number at the peer, left the session down.

Workaround

to recover it, restart BGP process, or reconfig the BGP neighbor.
