Symptom

The following AAA syslog error is displayed on the console every 60 secs: %AAA-3-BADSERVERTYPEERROR: Cannot process authorization server type private_sg-0 (UNKNOWN).

Conditions

When there is no AAA server configured on the box for TrustSec (CTS) and there is no TrustSec NDAC ("cts dot1x") configured on any of the interfaces to perform CTS authentication (where the server could be learned), the AAA syslog error above will appear on the console every 60 secs.

Workaround

Option #1: Use the test CLIs below to disable the CTS environment-data download: test cts enable test cts environment-data stop Option #2: If TrustSec NDAC is used, either configure the box as a TrustSec seed-device or as a non-seed device following this config guide: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/switches/lan/trustsec/configuration/guide/ident-conn_config.html
