A file descriptor leak can is seen in the mibd_entity process that leads to a mibd_entity process crash. This is shown by the following syslog message: RP/0/RP0/CPU0:T10-UUT#RP/0/RP0/CPU0:Jan 7 12:05:40.527 : wdsysmon[466]: %HA-HA_WD-3-FD_CRIT_LIM : Process mibd_entity, pid 803106 is using 951 file descriptors out of a max of 1000. Critical limit (95%) crossed. RP/0/RP0/CPU0:Jan 7 12:05:41.928 : dumper[60]: %OS-DUMPER-4-CORE_INFO : Core for pid = 803106 (mibd_entity) requested by pkg/bin/ksh@node0_RP0_CPU0
This issue occurs on a CRS running 4.1.0 that is polling the enhanced image MIB and/or enhanced memory pool MIB.
No workaround is known at this time.
The mibd_entity process will automatically recover, and no other services are known to be affected by this issue.
