Issue
If an email is quarantined as a result of Gateway AV scan errors on the attachment, that attachment is not readable in quarantine or after you release it. The file will appear in a Base64 format, which looks like a random assortment of letters and numbers.
This issue occurs most often with password-protected files, which cannot be read by AV scanners.
Workaround/Solution
No workaround exists at this time.
