Issue
If you try to download a file that is larger than the configured scan limit for Gateway AV, the download could fail with an encoding error in the Firebox log messages.
This issue also causes some pages to fail to display correctly as page elements fail to download.
Workaround/Solution
To avoid this issue, configure an HTTP proxy exception for the page that hosts the large file. For instructions, see HTTP-Proxy: Exceptions.
If you see this issue frequently, you can increase the Gatway AV scan limit. This will require the Firebox to use more system resources for Gateway AV, and could cause other performance problems. To learn more, see About Gateway AntiVirus Scan Limits.
