For Ubuntu releases that support the Netplan utility for configuring networking on a Linux system, when you deploy an Ubuntu VM and customize it with both IPv4 and IPv6 gateways, the Netplan configuration file /etc/netplan/99-netcfg-vmware.yaml file of the guest OS contains two route sections under a single network interface. This issue is resolved in this release. With the fix, customizing an Ubuntu VM with both IPv4 and IPv6 gateways creates a single route section for each NIC in the Netplan configuration file, and adds the corresponding IPv4 and IPv6 gateways of the NIC to its route section.
