Symptoms
Unable to sync with the VMware-curated Microsoft software repository. A sync task fails with the following error."A general system error occurred: HTTP request error: cannot authenticate SSL certificate for host vmc-microsoft-templates.s3-us-west-2.amazonaws.com."
Cause
This is due to the certificate change of "vmc-microsoft-templates.s3-us-west-2.amazonaws.com". This certificate is changed periodically.
Resolution
Access the Content Libraries page from the Menu.Find the subscribed content library for "vmc-microsoft-templates.s3-us-west-2.amazonaws.com", right-click the library, and click "Edit Settings".Without making any changes, click "OK" to trust the new certificate.
