Symptoms
when a Mac client user receives a Teams optimized call, text alert or any other notifications, the local client endpoint volume increases to maximum value.
Even if the local endpoint volume is muted, the Teams optimized notifications result in the local client endpoint volume being unmuted and set to maximum value

This article highlights this unexpected volume change and how to avoid it
Impact / Risks
The local client endpoint's volume will be automatically increased to max value and unmuted when using MS Teams optimization
Resolution
Please subscribe to this article for an update. This will be rectified in a newer release of the client.
Workaround
The Horizon Client can be downgraded to an earlier release, 2303 for example.With the current release 8.10(2306) client, the User can log in to the desktop, launch Teams, and then modify the desktop volume to a lower volume.This needs to be done for every reconnection to the desktop
