Purpose
This article highlights specific behaviour with some headset models with Horizon Client 2306 and offers a workaround. Note: This is an edge case and the majority of headsets should not be impacted by this behaviour.
Resolution
Upgrade the Horizon client to version 2309 where this matter is resolved in Code.
Workaround
For the current release client 2306, the problematic headsets can be replaced temporarily with Teams-compatible headsets from popular vendors such as Plantronics Blackwire, Jabra, and Logitech. The Horizon Client can be downgraded to an earlier release, 2303 for example. In cases where the Jabra Engage 75 headset causes any issue, the user can use Jabra Direct(software) to change Engage 75's SoftPhone "Communication device to "audio device".For the current release client 2306, HID can be disabled from the client side by adding a registry key - This will disable HID as a feature and prevent the crash.
