Impact / Risks
In NSX-V2T Scenario, VxRail upgrade is blocked. In NSX-T2T Scenario, NSX-T2T upgrade is blocked.
Resolution
This issue is fixed in VCF 4.5.1.
Workaround
Quick workaround to fix this issue is to set FQDN on VxRail Manager VM. Command below:
hostnamectl set-hostname <FQDN of VxRail Manager VM>
Post setting hostname to its FQDN, in vCenter MOB, hostname for VxRail Manager VM updates to its FQDN, which helps SDDC Manager operationsmanager service to read VxRail Manager with its FQDN correctly.Once hostname is updated, Re-run Pre-check on failed VxRail Manager, ERROR in Pre-check and Disconnected account for respective VxRail Manager VM issues should resolve automatically
