Events Database: Events are stored in the console for a limited time period. The Events Database stores recorded events that happen to your Horizon Server. After a period, events are moved to a historical database.Database Reporting Tools can be utilized to interrogate events with the assistance of your Database Administrator: For more information, see Event Database Tables and Schemas.The Events Database is an optional configuration in Horizon 8. A Horizon Fling is offered to assist Admins less familiar with SQL: Horizon View Events Database Export Utility Syslog Configuration: In addition to monitoring events in Horizon Console, you can generate VMware Horizon events in Syslog format so that the event data can be accessible to analytics software. See Documentation for additional detail: Configure Event Logging to File or Syslog Server in VMware Horizon 8 Logon Monitor: VMware Logon Monitor monitors Windows user logons and reports performance metrics intended to help administrators, support staff, and developers to troubleshoot slow logon performance. This is an optional service, disabled by default: VMware Logon Monitor service is stopped by default after View Agent installation (57051) Volatile Client System information: The Horizon Client Software gathers information about the Client System which is delivered to the Virtual Desktop. Please refer to the documentation for a complete list of values: Client System Information Sent to Remote Desktops Registry KeyDescriptionViewClient_IP_AddressLocal IP (The IP as seen with an "ipconfig" run locally on the client)ViewClient_Broker_Remote_IP_Address The IP address of the Client as seen by the Connection Server instance. Horizon Logs : Additional detail can also be seen within the respective component logs. These are stored details on the operational aspects of the software actions and are primarily useful as a diagnostic aid.Certain Information is not recorded at the default log level - Log Levels can be increased to capture additional data if needed.
