Symptoms
When you try and delete an App Stack or a Package, the Delete button is greyed out resulting in the user not being able to remove a Package or App Stack from the App Volumes manager.
Cause
An App Stack or Package that is is mounted in a VDI or an RDS is known as an instance. This issue occurs when an instance is still registered as connected and has not disconnected.
The issue is predominantly found when an end user has been assigned a standard Package or App Stack on an RDS session instead of an RDS generated Package\App stack.(2105428)
The standard Package or AppStack is not designed for nonpersistent desktops and is not supported, the Package\App Stack does not detach intermittently.Only RDS Packages and AppStacks should be used on RDS.
Impact / Risks
This has a low impact because the assignments for the Package or AppStack can be removed as a workaround, negating the production impact.
Resolution
From the manager Interface :
From the infrastructure menu item, select the infrastructure tab and delete the instances. If the instances are not listed, then schedule maintenance on your environment and delete the snapshots created from the RDS.Create a new snapshot and push the changes across the application pool.
