Symptoms
The VMware SD-WAN Edge is unable to connect to the VMware Edge Network Intelligence (ENI) service.The following message will show on the status of the crawler on the ENI dashboard: "No MGMT Connectivity".
Cause
This issue is caused when the SD-WAN Edge is configured with a non-default DNS.
Resolution
VMware is aware of this issue and working to resolve this in a future release.
Workaround
There are two known workarounds:
Configure the Edge's Public DNS settings to Google
Click on the Configure tabSelect the affected edgeOn the Device tab, expand on DNSClick on the Override checkboxOn the Public DNS drop down, select GoogleSave Changes
Add the Nyansa domain to your private DNS configuration
Click on the Configure tabClick on Network ServicesUnder DNS services, click on your current private DNS serverClick on Private / Private DNSIn the Private Domains section, add the line "nyansa.com"Save settings
