Symptoms
After the installation of the horizon view agent on the parent image, the sound driver is wiped out.If we navigate to windows device manager, we do not find any sound driver installed and the sound driver does not return after a reboot.
Cause
On initial review of view agent installation logs, we notice a reboot is pending after view agent installation:

Resolution
If you encounter this issue, please follow the below steps on the affected VM:
Uninstall VMWare Tools > Reboot. Reinstall VMWare Tools (latest version). Uninstall Horizon Agent > Reboot. Install Horizon Agent Using Core Option Only > Reboot Run Horizon Agent Installer again and select 'VMWare Audio > Reboot
