Symptoms
After deploying a vRealize product except for vRLI in VCF mode the load-balancer VIP may not be responding.
Purpose
This article exists so that customers can work around the issue of not working NSX-T LB
Cause
When deploying vRSLCM if for Standalone NSX-T T1 IP is provided IP that is already in use but the ping to this IP is being filtered/disabled we still create the Standalone T1 and IP duplication on the network occurs.
Resolution
There is no resolution
Workaround
In NSX-T UI navigate to Networking > Tier-1 Gateways.Select the vRealize Standalone T1 default name(reg-a-m01-lb01-t1-gw01).Select Service Interfaces.Edit the existing Service Interface.Remove the old IP Address / Mask and provide a new one that is not in use.Save the configuration and the previously not responding LB VIP will now be available.
