Symptoms
ESXi crashed with:BlueScreen: PANIC bora/vmkernel/main/dlmalloc.c:3919 - Corruption in dlmalloc
Cause
According to the QLogic release notes, this is a known issue.
Resolution
Upgrade the qlnative driver version to 2.1.81, which also requires firmware update to version 8.08.xx.
