This article describes the end of availability of the vSphere with Operations Management Enterprise Plus (vSOM ENT+) edition.
On October 8, 2018, customers were notified about the End of Availability (EOA) of the vSphere with Operations Management Enterprise Plus (vSOM ENT+) edition effective February 1, 2019. After this date, vSOM ENT+ will no longer be available for purchase.Customers who are active on Support and Subscription Services (SnS) for vSOM ENT+ were fulfilled to vSphere Enterprise Plus (vSphere ENT+) and vRealiize Operations Standard (vROPS STD) on October 15, 2018. This fulfillment will be on-going for new bookings until vSOM ENT+ is no longer available for purchase.Customers who have remained active on Support and Subscription Services for the vSphere with Operations Management Enterprise (vSOM ENT) Edition were fulfilled to vSphere Enterprise (vSphere ENT) and vROPS STD. vSphere ENT and vSOM ENT are no longer available for purchase. These editions went EOA June 30, 2016.Customers who are active on Support and Subscription Services for vCloud NFV will have their vSOM ENT+ license and their vRealize Operations Advanced Add-On for vSOM license fulfilled to vSphere ENT+ and vRealize Operations 7 Advanced on November 23, 2018. After the upgrade, customers will have vSphere Platinum licenses and existing vRealize Operations Standard licenses. Upgrade to vCloud Suite Customers can upgrade their vRealize Operations Standard component licenses to vRealize Suite Standard. After the upgrade the customer will effectively have the vCloud Suite bundle of vSphere Enterprise Plus and vRealize Suite Standard. Upgrade vRealize Operations to vRealize Advanced Customers can upgrade their vRealize Operations Standard licenses to vRealize Operations Advanced. After the upgrade, they will have their existing vSphere Enterprise Plus licenses and vRealize Operations Advanced licenses.
