Symptoms
In Horizon Administrator, when you set the "PCoIP hardware acceleration" global policy to "Allow", and the DLL file "tera2800_accel.dll" exists under Horizon Agent Host "%PROGRAMFILES%\Common Files\VMware\Teradici PCoIP Server", the PCoIP Server output log has the following error message:2018-07-17T09:48:34.776+08:00> LVL:2 RC:-500 MGMT_IMG :Unable to find tera2800_accel.dll!
Cause
Although the Teradici APEX 2800 PCoIP Server Offload Card will not work, the PCoIP Server works and the PCoIP session can be established.
Resolution
To resolve this issue, install the Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package (x86) on the Horizon Agent Host.
