What is an Entitlement Account Number?
An account is associated with a company, entity, or individual. An account allows information to be viewed collectively rather than at the individual profile level. Account names are derived from the organization’s name that was used in the initial Purchase Order for the products associated to that account.
Why is an Entitlement Account Number important?
It is very important to use this account number for all product and support purchases. If you do not provide the account number when making a purchase or placing an order, a new account number will likely be created for the newly purchased product or support.
Steps to find an Entitlement Account Number:
Navigate to the Partner Connect Portal page.Log in using your credentials. Note: If you are a new user, register on Partner Central. For more information see How to register with Partner Connect (2017710).Click EA Lookup. There are 2 ways in which you can go to the EA Lookup tool as shown below: Update the Customer Name and Country (mandatory fields) and then click Search. This populates the list of Accounts associated with the respective customer in our database. For more information, you can also refer to the EA Lookup Tool FAQ (as shown below).
