Symptoms
VMware vRealize Operations Manager (vROps) 6.X reporting extremely high virtual disk latency values. High virtual disk latency values are seen in vSphere Datastore dashboard widgets, Top25 Datastores by Disk Average Latency.
Cause
This issue occurs because the adapterTime calculations are incorrect, which result in abnormal DAVG values in esxtop, VMware vCenter Server and vRealize Operations Manager stats.
Resolution
This is a known issue affecting VMware vRealize Operations Manager 6.x.This issue is resolved in vSphere 5.5 Update 3b and vSphere 6.0 Update 1b, available from VMware Downloads.
