This issue occurs when you use certain special characters in the SSO administrators password.
This is a known issue. Currently, there is no resolution. To work around this issue, avoid using these special characters in the SSO administrators password: ^*$;"') < > & | \ _#=A trailing " " spaceNon-ASCII characters Note: The password must have at least: Eight charactersOne special characterOne lowercase characterOne uppercase characterOne number For more information, see the vSphere Upgrade Guide.
