Q: What are the different editions available for the vCloud Suite?A: vCloud Suite is a new product with three new editions: Advanced, Standard, and Enterprise.Q: Is there a change in the licensing model for vRAM with vCloud Suite?A: The vCloud Suite converges with the vSphere licensing model (that is, per processor with unlimited vRAM entitlement).Q: Is it possible to break the components of the vCloud Suite and use the components as individual products?A: It is not possible to break the components of one license to run on multiple CPUs.Q: Are products that are available as a part of the vCloud Suite continue to be available as individual products?A: Yes, these products are available as individual products.Q: Are different licenses provided for the various products that are part of the vCloud Suite?A: A single vCloud Suite license key can be used to unlock all the components of the suite.Q: I have an existing license for vSphere. Can I upgrade to the vCloud Suite?A: Yes, all vSphere editions have upgrade options available to vCloud Suite Edition. Q: Because one license key can activate all the products, is there a change in the way the products are licensed?A: Licensing of all vCloud components remain the same. The vCloud Suite license key must be applied to all components to be activated.Q: Can I downgrade the licenses and upgrade them when required?A: Yes, you can downgrade the license to the vSphere version 5.0 or 4.x. When you downgrade, the vCloud Suite license with the original quantity remains.
