This article provides information about accessing VMware downloads.
You can access VMware Downloads on the All Downloads page in Customer Connect. The All Downloads has three tabs: Downloads : Provides access to downloads available for your productsAll Products : Provides comprehensive list of all VMware products available for download.Products A-Z : Provides an alphabetical list of all products available for downloads. Note: The 'Other Downloads' menu on the right side provides access to other downloads and notifications. To evaluate a Customer Connect product, click Trial and Free Products. For more information, see How to download patches in Customer Connect (1021623)To subscribe to patch alerts, click Get New Patch Alert. For more information, see How to view your Customer Connect Profile (2086265) and How to update your Customer Connect profile (2086266)To view the products that you have downloaded since the launch of Customer Connect/Customer Connect, click My Download History. Downloads Please keep in mind the below pre-requisites to be able to download VMware products: You will need to have an active registered Customer Connect Profile. If not already registered, please follow KB How to create a Customer Connect profile (2007005)You will need to be added to the folder in which the license key in question resides under the Entitlement Account (EA). If you don't own the Product yourself and need to download, you will need to be added to the Entitlement Account (EA)/ Folder in which the license key in question resides. If you have not been added to an Entitlement Account or do not have relevant permissions, you will need to contact the Super User to gain access. To access this tab and download products: Log in to Customer Connect.Click the Downloads Quick link option. It will take you to the next page: Follow the instructions in How to download VMware products and troubleshooting issues with downloads (54456) When new versions are available for one of your products, you receive an alert in Customer Connect. To search for a VMware product to download: Enter search terms into the All Products Downloads search box and click the search icon or press Enter. Note: The All Products Downloads search box is available on the My Products, All Products, and Products A-Z tabs. From the search results, click the appropriate link, then follow the instructions in How to download VMware products and troubleshooting issues with downloads (54456). Note: To narrow search results, you can refine your search using the options on the right side.
