After working with Veeam's Renewals Team to migrate from socket-based to instance-based VUL licenses, migrating Veeam Backup & Replication is as simple as: Download the new Instance-based license.
If the Veeam Backup & Replication deployment is managed by Veeam Backup Enterprise Manager, you'll need to first install the instance-based license in Veeam Backup Enterprise Manager, and then remove the socket-based license.
