Before installing this hotfix to add support for VMware Cloud Director 10.4 to Veeam Backup & Replication, please confirm that you are running Veeam Backup & Replication 11a P20230227 (build 11.0.1.1261 P20230227). You can check the installed build number in the Veeam Backup & Replication Console's Main Menu (≡) under Help > About.
Resolved by Hotfix for Veeam Backup & Replication Upon configuration of Cloud Connect Replication network extension appliance (NEA), Cloud Director of version 10.3.2 or higher removes the appliance management network interface, making tenant failover operations impossible. Usage of Cloud Director 10.4 results in backup and replication jobs failing with: VMware Cloud Director server does not support SDK of the following versions. Resolved by Patch for Veeam Plug-In for VMware vCloud Director Cloud Director 10.4 breaks Veeam Plug-in for VMware vCloud Director.
Service Providers using Cloud Connect Replication must redeploy Network Extension Appliances after patch installation.
