When attempting to install the VeeamCDP I/O filter on a cluster that will be used for continuous data protection (CDP), the installation fails with the following error: The agent's workflow is blocked until its required solutions are re-mediated externally in vSphere Lifecycle Manager.
vSphere LifeCycle Management installed on the cluster requires the remediation of updates for hosts in the cluster.
To install the VeeamCDP I/O filter on a cluster, do the following: In the VMware vSphere client, navigate to updates of a cluster for which you want to install the filter. For the hosts on the cluster, click Remediate All.
