Challenge
The following error occurs: "VSS: Guest operation system is not supported." The log file contains the following messages: [timestamp] Info Collecting guest metrics. [timestamp] Info Guest OS: [Windows XP x64]. [timestamp] <01> Error [VssGAConn] Guest operation system is not supported, type EVeeamOsXP, platform EVeeamAmd64, version 5.2
Cause
Application-aware image processing is not supported for Windows XP 64-bit version.
Solution
Disable VSS quiescing for any VMs with Windows XP 64-bit version.
