The earliest recollection of this bug is traced back to PAN-OS 10.2.10 - July 22, 2025. This bug is fixed in PAN-OS versions 10.2.11, 10.2.10-h2, 10.2.9-h9, 11.1.5. Performing a configuration commit on a firewall, either locally or from Panorama, causes a memory leak by the configd process and results in an out-of-memory (OOM) condition.
