The earliest recollection of this bug is traced back to PAN-OS 8.1.7 - July 22, 2025. This bug is fixed in PAN-OS versions 8.1.7. Fixed an issue on PA-3200 Series firewalls where an SNMP OID ( sysObjectID ) reported the incorrect model (for example, PA-2020 instead of PA-3260).
