The earliest recollection of this bug is traced back to PAN-OS 8.1.5 - January 09, 2024. This bug is fixed in PAN-OS versions 8.1.5. ( VM-Series firewalls in a high availability (HA) configuration only ) Fixed an issue when the management interface used DHCP Client-IP assignment where the automatic commits failed after multiple PAN-OS upgrade and downgrade cycles.
