I've removed mongodb-org.repo from repo.mongodb.org/yum/redhat/
It won't confuse anyone any longer.

So in this case wouldn't be a good idea to remove the file mongodb-org.repo since it's linking to a non existent repo?

Thank you for the report.
In an effort to simply our repository layout and prevent users from accidentally upgrading between major versions, we have removed the the stable repository.

Steps to Reproduce
Include this repo: https://repo.mongodb.org/yum/redhat/mongodb-org.repo
And try to install any mongo version for either CentOS 6 or 7.
