Symptoms
There is an icr_eventd error found in /var/log/ltm when an API profile is created:
err icr_eventd[5659]: 01a10003:3: Receive MCP msg failed: Can't recv, status: 0x1020046.
Impact
The profile is created or the HA change takes effect, but a 'Receive MCP msg failed' error is logged.
Note: This occurs intermittently.
Conditions
This occurs in either of the following scenarios:
-- Create an API profile.
-- Make change to high availability (HA) device group.
Workaround
Restart icr_eventd:
bigstart restart icr_eventd
