Symptoms
Default route LSA not generated after blade failover, resulting in no default route in the route table.
Impact
Default route not in the route table; traffic relying on the default route.
Conditions
-- Enable ospfv2 or ospfv3.
-- Configure 'default-information originate always.
-- Blade failover.
Workaround
Issue the following command on the primary blade after failover:
clear ip ospf process
Fix Information
The ospf process now reissues type-5 default route LSA after GR if default-info originate always is enabled.
