Symptoms

RecoverPoint upgraded to latest RP EX/CL version 5.1.3.VMware SRM Array discovery failing.RecoverPoint Appliances (RPAs) already set to use HTTPS only.RPA can communicate with SRM server.No blocked ports (7115, 7225, 443).SRM user is not locked, can log in to RP GUI, and has admin rights.Checked Kb article 524581: RecoverPoint: SRM 8.1 supportability for SRM RP supportability. Cause

RecoverPoint 5.1.3 is not compatible with JAVA version 7 and earlier.

Resolution

Resolution: Perform the below steps: Install Java version 8 (32 bit) in the SRM server.After Java 8 (32 bit) is installed, restart the SRM server.Retry the Array discovery.
