Symptoms
Web Tools performance graph on Brocade 6510 does not display throughput statistics. In addition, Brocade 6505 and 6510 switches incorrectly respond with zero values for port counters using SNMP. Issuing a "get," "get next," or "MIB walk" incorrectly returns all zeros.
Cause
A defect with the 6505 and 6510 while running POST causes the switch to incorrectly report the SNMP port counter as zero.The following SNMP OIDs do not return values correctly:'.1.3.6.1.3.94.4.5.1.39' => \%LINKFAILURES,'.1.3.6.1.3.94.4.5.1.44' => \%SYNCLOSS,'.1.3.6.1.3.94.4.5.1.8' => \%ZEROBBCREDIT,'.1.3.6.1.3.94.4.5.1.40' => \%INVALIDCRC,'.1.3.6.1.3.94.4.5.1.28' => \%C3DISCARD,'.1.3.6.1.3.94.4.5.1.7' => \%RX,'.1.3.6.1.3.94.4.5.1.6' => \%TX,
Resolution
As a workaround use portperfshow command in CLI to monitor port throughput. In addition, running the CLI command diagpost disable and then rebooting the switch will work.Resolution : Defect 367396: SNMP query for statistics of TX and RX of a 6505/6510 platform always returning 0. To fix this issue, users must upgrade to FOS v7.0.1.
