Symptoms
MAPS were enabledThe customer will see what appears to be a latency issue due to invalid MAPS MAPS-1001 & MAPS 1003 alerts for DEV_LATENCY_IMPACT messages. Or a timeout due to invalid MAPS-1002 messages for C3TXTO alerts. Cause
Product Defect :DEFECT000565991After running slotstatsclear;statsclear or portstatsclear commands, invalid MAPS MAPS-1001 & MAPS 1003 alerts for DEV_LATENCY_IMPACT may be logged, sometimes very delayed from the time stats were cleared. The problem happens when ASIC driver returns older values after statsclear commands are issued.
Resolution
Upgrade to a release with the fix: - Fixed Versions : 7.4.1b or higher.If the problem still exits, please contact your EMC Customer Service representative or the EMC Customer Support Center for technical assistance and upload the switch logs to the service request, so that support staff can check them and provide you with a feedback.
