Symptoms

Cause
Backup of Windows Server 2016 was attempted using the Avamar 7.3 client.Support for Windows Server 2016 was added in Avamar version 7.4.Please see http://compatibilityguide.emc.com:8080/CompGuideApp/ for supported versions.
Resolution
Upgrade Avamar client and server to at least version 7.4
