Symptoms
Unable to configure Tape Library with error - not able to find 'nwserver' storage node where nwserver is the storage node in small letter
Cause
In NMC, the Networker server hostname is in small letter, but in storage node list, the storage node hostname of Networker server is in capital letter.So when configure tape library attached to Networker server, the error not able to find 'nwserver' storage node appears.This is due to a posix imposed limitation on caps sensitivity in LINUX based Networker server
Resolution
1. Shutdown Networker server by running nsr_shutdown2. Run nsradmin -d '' to enter nsradmin command line3. Run print type:NSR Storage node;name:NWSERVER where NWSERVER is in capital letter4. Run delete, then press ENTER5. Type y, then press ENTER5. Type quit to exit nsradmin6. Started up Networker server by running /etc/init.d/networker start7. Check that 'nwserver' storage node name in small letter is listed in NMC8. Checked that the Tape library is able to be configured and ready
