Symptoms

Data enrichment and property tagging is applied to the Load Balancer Connector on the Collector hosts in ViPR SRM 3.6 SP1 or EMC M&R 6.5u1 and higher. Cause

The data that is targeted for enrichment is not sent to the Load Balancer Connector that is configured with the data enrichment settings. The Collectors are instead configured to send the data to the Load Balancer Arbiter which is located on the Primary Backend host which lacks the data enrichment.

Resolution

Verify from the Collectors that the data is configured to send to the Load Balancer Connector on "localhost" rather than the Primary Backend. This can be checked as below: Log onto Centralized-Management and navigate to the "SolutionPacks" section on the left hand menu (http://:58080/centralized-management/#/sp).Select the SolutionPack in question for which the data enrichment is configured. For example: Click on the pencil icon next to the "Data collection" module to edit the settings for the Collector Manager: Edit the "Data collection" field and verify that the settings are set to "localhost" and port "2020".
