Search Unisphere for PowerMax software ID or Symmetrix serial ID on the Dell Support site. Click the option on that page to generate an Access Key and PIN (See article 000180688 Generate Access Key and PIN for Dell Products)The legacy product can use the Access Key and PIN (AK&P) flow as follows: Generate an Access Key and PIN (AK&P) from the product support page for the device.Use the Access Key in place of the customer emailUse the PIN instead of the customer’s passwordThe Dell backend translates Gen4 REST-API registration call into a Gen4 REST call, and authenticates it.Location ID is validated, and if successful:Product is added to Secure Connect Gateway.
