The NetWorker VMware Protection (NVP) integration is configured with the vProxy appliance. During vProxy backups, some VMs fail to initialize the backup. vProxy is unable to download the VM's nvram file. Other VMs within the same group, ESX host, and/or datastore may backup successfully. The HTTP error is coming from the ESXi host.
Engage with VMware support to investigate the cause of the HTTP 500 (Internal Server Error)Workaround:Storage vMotion the VM to another datastore. The VM may be vMotioned back to its original datastore afterwards.
