Symptoms

The NVIDIA graphics card may not be recognized on computers configured with 1 TB or more of system memory. It may not provide video and may show with an error code 43 "device has reported an error" in Device Manager. Affected Configuration: Precision 7960 Rack with 1TB or Greater Memory

Cause

Intel Virtualization in the BIOS may be disabled.

Resolution

Go to Processor Settings in the BIOS Settings. See if Virtualization Technology is disabled. If it is disabled, enable it for the graphics driver to support the graphics card correctly in this configuration.As per NVIDIA, Virtualization must be on to properly map all the address space for all the GPU families supported by the driver. As for general virtualization and Windows 11, the core isolation capabilities such as memory integrity require it to be enabled.
