Symptoms
Data collection requests for RP4VM server is showing successful.All other reports for RP4VM are populating.Selecting the scope as RecoverPoint for VM (RP4VM) and running either the RecoverPoint Event Details or the RecoverPoint Event Summary system reports show "No results found". No data in these reports.The following errors are observed in the server log on the DPA application server (/dpa/services/logs/server.log)2023-08-30 14:54:22,867 ERROR [com.emc.dpa.restapi.util.DPAExceptionMapper] (http-/0.0.0.0:9002-6) Exception caught. Exception was...: javax.ejb.EJBException: com.emc.dpa.common.exception.DPAException: The Report with the id '97f09bc8-d492-4c39-bf87-dfdbd7d8c605' was not found (exception.id_not_found).Caused by: com.emc.dpa.common.exception.DPAException: The Report with the id '97f09bc8-d492-4c39-bf87-dfdbd7d8c605' was not found (exception.id_not_found)The id of the report is unique to the customer environment.
Cause
As per the DPA Data Collection Reference Guide:NOTE: rpa_events data is not gathered from RecoverPoint 5.2.2This means that any reports for RecoverPoint Events are blank.The report is listed for RecoverPoint servers that are on a version under 5.2.2.
Resolution
DPA is working per design. There is no workaround.
