Symptoms
Computer will not detect the Dell Portable Thunderbolt 3 SSD 500 GB or 1 TB that is connected to the computer. This occurs when there are two Thunderbolt devices connected simultaneously.

Cause
The computer supports 5 Volt @ 3A (15 Watt) on the first plug Thunderbolt device. The second Thunderbolt device is limited to 5 Volts @ 1.5A (7.5 Watt).Some Thunderbolt devices may require more than 1.5A power. The Dell Portable Thunderbolt 3 SSD 500 GB and 1 TB, portable storage which requires 5 Volt @ 2.4A power which does not work in this condition.
Resolution
This is the expected behavior. Unplug the first Thunderbolt device and replug in the second Thunderbolt device.
