From the Switch side it seems like emails could not be delivered:

Cause
The messages suggest that the configuration is correct but perhaps there was a network issue then that caused the alerts to fail or be delayed.
Resolution
The issue was related to the configuration of the Exchange mail hub which was resolved after changing the "mail hub" and correcting relay server directions.
