Symptoms

Environment:DPE version is 19.7.Avamar proxy is 19.3.Avamar VCP:DPE Backups fail with avvcbimage Error : Invalid flag: "--hard-quota-limit". avvcbimage Error : Invalid flag: "--hard-quota-limit" avvcbimage Error : Invalid flag: "--soft-quota-limit"

Cause

The DPE version is 19.7.The Avamar proxy is version 19.3.Because it is a lower version, the Avamar proxy does not understand the new flags which the vApp plug-in passes to it.

Resolution

Upgrade the Avamar proxy to 19.7.
