Symptoms
When the system Intel graphic driver version is v1692 or newer, the displayed color becomes foggy after executing Dell PremierColor application. The issue may happen in Dell Precision 3570, Precision 3470 and Precision 3571.Affected OS:Windows 10, Windows 11Affected Configuration:Dell PremierColor v6.1
Cause
Intel Graphics Control Library (IGCL) mismatch between PremierColor application and Intel graphic driver.
Resolution
Follow the below steps to modify "Dell PremierColor" gamma setting.
Run "Dell PremierColor" app, then select "Advanced Color Setup" Figure.1 Advanced Color Setup Fill in any character to save a new profile, then click the "SAVE" button. Figure.2 Color GamutAfter clicking the "SAVE" button to create profile data.Click "PROFILES" on the bottom-left corner of the application. Figure.5 File nameUse "Notepad" to open profile data, modify the value to "20", and press "Ctrl+S" to save the profile setting. Permanent solution:
Issue will be fixed in the updated release of PremierColor in August 2022. You need to follow the steps below to update PremierColor for the issue to be resolved.
If Intel graphic driver version is v1692 or newer, please uninstall Intel graphic driver before proceeding to step2. (Device Manager > Display Adapters > right-click Intel Graphics device > choose "uninstall device" > restart system.)Download and update PremierColor to v6.1.x from Dell eSupport or Microsoft Store.Download and Install Intel graphic driver version v1692 or a newer version from Dell eSupport.Relaunch Dell PremierColor application.
