When hovering over NAS Servers on Unisphere, the follow alert is visible:Some servers configured for the CEPA server of the specified NAS server cannot be reached. Verify: 1) That the network addresses of the CEPA servers are valid. 2) That the network is available and that the CEPA facility is running on the CEPA server. 3) The network integrity between the storage system and the CEPA server.All servers configured for the CEPA server of the specified NAS server cannot be reached. Incorrect Endpoint configuration under CEPA/CAVA Server Registry:[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\EMC\CEE\CEPP\Facility\Configuration]
Updated the Endpoint configuration accordingly, under CEPA/CAVA Server Registry.Step 1 of 5: Login to your CEPA/CAVA Server as an AdministratorStep 2 of 5: Open the Windows Registry Editor (regedit)Step 3 of 5: Navigate to [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\EMC\CEE\CEPP\Facility\Configuration] Where Facility can be one of these three: a) Auditb) CQMc ) VCAPS Step 4 of 5: Create Registry Key with value: @ Step 5 of 5: Restart the services on both CEPA and Unity NAS Servers: On CEPA server: service.msc > Stop and then Start the CEE ServiceOn Unity NAS Server: STORAGE > File > NAS Servers > NAS Properties (select the NAS Server) > Protection & Events > Events Publishing (uncheck box, and check box back) Attention: Please note that each Endpoint will have different requirements. If the software does not support a particular facility, it should not have an entry in the registry for it.However, at least one of those facilities needs to be pointing to a valid service and address.
