Event VXR508MEM0802 shows up on physical view.
Cause
The memory health monitor feature has detected a degradation in the DIMM installed in . Reboot system to initiate the self-heal process.
PowerEdge server BIOS will initiate the self-healing process automatically upon the next reboot. (BIOS may initiate more reboots during this process.) Do not remove or swap the DIMM at the specified location in the event message.
After a successful healing process, a DIMM replacement for these correctable memory errors is not necessary.
Resolution
Follow these steps to verify DIMM status:Open iDRAC view of the device, go to Maintenance -> System Event Log, verify that there is indeed an event MEM0802.Put the cluster in suppress mode and the node in maintenance mode.
Then reboot the host soon to initiate self-heal process.If the healing process failed, contact Dell Technologies Technical Support or your Authorized Service Representative, and quote this Dell Knowledge Base article ID.
